Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is this site?
A personal archive of sound, code and visual experiments. Mostly things I make while learning — Sonic Pi, Ardour, samples, generative art, small tools. Some of it works, some doesn’t. It’s all here.
Who writes everything here?
Just me. I’m learning music and code from scratch. No big team, no professionals, no agency — just notes from someone figuring things out.
What can I find on the site?
- Music & Sound — releases, thoughts, sound design, new music I’m listening to
- Sonic Pi — code, samples, tools, generative sound
- Digital Art — procedural graphics, prompts, AI composition
- Making — hands, hardware, small tools
Plus notes, tutorials and drafts.
Can I use code, samples, images or text from this site?
Only if the post explicitly says you can. Look for a license note at the bottom of the post — something like MIT, CC BY, CC BY-NC, or a written permission.
What do the license notes mean?
At the bottom of some posts you’ll see a short note like MIT, CC BY, or CC BY-NC. Here’s what they mean:

Just keep the credit.Apache 2.0— same as MIT, plus explicit patent protection.GPL— you can use and modify it, but if you share your version, it must stay open under the same license.AGPL— same as GPL, but also applies when the code runs on a server.

Only in tutorials, and only when they’re based on my own sketches and materials. I don’t publish AI-generated images as finished work.
Do you use AI?
Yes — for prompts, composition, editing, translation and grammar checks. I mark AI-assisted content where it matters.
I’m against copying someone else’s work into a generation. The concept should come from a human.

Not by default. All music on this site is protected by copyright unless a post explicitly says otherwise (for example, CC BY-NC in the notes). If you want to use something and there’s no license note — just ask.
